Hacktivity 2009 keynote speaker

Sziasztok!

Örömmel jelentjük be, hogy a Hacktivity 2009 keynote speaker-e nem más, mint Alexander Kornbrust, a Red-Database-Security GmbH alapítója és első embere. Alexander szinte az összes jelentősebb IT biztonsági konferencián előadott már, többek között a Black Hat-en és a Defcon-on is! Így nagy megtiszteltetés számunkra, hogy elfogadta a felkérésünket és idén ő tartja az első előadást a Hacktivity-n.

Íme egy kis ízelítő (persze angolul, hiszen az előadás is angol lesz :) ).

Finding the hole

"Finding the hole" becomes more and more important nowadays. In the security area this sentence can have 2 meanings. To find bugs and to find a niche for the future (business).
This presentation will explain how I found my niche in the Oracle universe, Oracle reaction on my business ideas, outlook in the future. But I will also show some interesting security/architecture bugs I found this year in the Oracle and during security audits.

Biography:

Alexander Kornbrust is the founder of Red-Database-Security a company specialized in Oracle security. He provides Oracle security audits, security training and consulting to customers worldwide. Alexander is also the co-author of the book "SQL Injection Attacks and Defense ".

Alexander has worked since 1992 with Oracle and his specialties are the security of Oracle databases and secure software architectures. In the last 6 years Alexander has reported more than 350 security bugs to Oracle and gave various presentations on security conferences like Black Hat, Defcon, Bluehat, HITB, ...
Alexander holds a masters degree in computer science from the University of Passau, Germany.
